During the early '90s Nick Oliveri was a member of the highly influential stoner-rock legends Kyuss, and then in the late '90s reunited with former Kyuss bandmate Josh Homme to form Queens of the Stone Age. During his tenure with Queens of the Stone Age, Oliveri would soar to heights of mainstream success performing high profile shows with Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Rock In Rio festival (where Oliveri was arrested for performing naked on stage), landing at #17 on the Billboard Top 200 and producing the Billboard #1 Rock Track, “No One Knows.” Oliveri’s success with Queens always seemed to be a love/hate relationship not only with his band but also with the success it garnered. Since his departure from Queens of the Stone Age, Nick has both toured and appeared on-stage with Brant Bjork, Motörhead, Winnebago Deal, Masters of Reality, The Dwarves, Mark Lanegan and Turbonegro.
